How are investors verified on Slated?

All investors on Slated have affirmed that they are either accredited U.S. investors or non-U.S. residents who are actively investing, or interested in investing, in film.

While Slated does have an investor relations liaison who communicates with our investors regularly, and a removal process for members who are found to be falsifying information about themselves, it is ultimately the filmmaker’s responsibility to verify an investor’s accreditation status, investment sophistication, and suitability, before entering into any agreement with that investor.

Slated investors have confirmed that they fit the appropriate criteria. Please be aware that all investments or transactions still should be reviewed thoughtfully.
