It's always best to ensure your screenplay adheres to industry standards in terms of length and formatting prior to making a submission. However some of our filmmakers prefer getting feedback on very early drafts (which can sometimes be overly long) so that our readers can advise on what to cut or condense.

Our Script Analysis pricing of $495 assumes the submitted screenplay is formatted to industry standards and adheres to a standard feature length of 90-120 pages.

When scripts exceed the industry standard page count, or if their formatting does not adhere to industry standards with regards to font, font size, spacing, and margins, then it may take our story analysts significantly more time to read.

To account for this, Slated may charge an additional fee above and beyond the standard pricing to ensure your script gets the time and attention it deserves. Don't worry, we won't charge any additional fee without discussing it with you first.

When we notice a screenplay submission is non-standard, we'll reach out to the member who purchased the analysis, provide an estimate of long-read fee based on the document submitted, and share options for how to proceed.
