Unwanted solicitation

Using Slated to identify and solicit investors on other social networks is strictly prohibited. Although we’ve put protections in place to promote meaningful conversation and reduce indiscriminate solicitation on Slated, we can’t control what happens on other social networking sites. While it doesn’t happen often, unfortunately that means that people can use Slated simply to collect the names of people they want to solicit and then contact them through other means. People who engage in this behavior are violating the spirit of Slated as a trustworthy professional network and abusing it for their own gains.
